What is the New Unpaid Wages Lawsuit Against Awp Safety About?

The lawsuit alleges that, before their shifts, AWP required Protectors who drove company vehicles to coordinate with their assigned Passenger Protectors regarding a designated time and location for pick up so they could be transported to the assigned worksite. Driver Protectors were then expected to pick up Passenger Protectors from their homes, transport them to job sites, and return them home at the end of the workday. However, the lawsuit alleges that AWP failed to compensate Driver Protectors for these pre-and post-shift activities, resulting in unpaid overtime.

If I Am Able to Join the Awp Safety Unpaid Wages Case, What Could I Be Eligible to Receive?

If we can show in the lawsuit that you were not properly paid for all overtime work performed for one or more reason(s), the law states that you could receive (1) unpaid overtime for up to the last three years of work; and (2) liquidated damages in an amount equal to the unpaid overtime (aka the potential for double [2x or 200%] damages). If the lawsuit is successful, the law also requires AWP to pay our firm’s attorneys’ fees and costs.
